Winter Rose Walk

Winter roses line a gently curving path under established deciduous trees. Their different flower colours reward a slow walk, while the canopy provides summer shelter and admits more light in winter.

Foliage Mosaic

Small drifts of coral bells and hosta create a tapestry at the path edge. Plants are grouped by leaf colour rather than mixed one by one, with open space around their crowns and access for seasonal tidying.

Canopy Clearing

A sheltered clearing with morning light holds hydrangeas and pieris above a softer underplanting. Reliable moisture and protection from drying afternoon winds make this the lushest part of the garden.
