By using the website, creating an account, submitting a form, uploading content or using a portal, you agree to use the website responsibly and in line with these terms.

These terms are written in plain English and are not formal legal advice. Southern Plants may update them from time to time as the website and digital platform evolve.

Use Of The Public Website

The Southern Plants website provides information about our nursery, plants, brands, sustainability, careers, public catalogue, Home Gardener tools, Trade access and other services. You may browse public pages for general information, subject to these terms.

Southern Plants makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and up to date. However, plant descriptions, images, availability, stock, pricing, care advice, AI-assisted content and user-contributed material may change over time or contain errors. Users should use their own judgement and seek professional advice where appropriate before relying on website content.

The website may display or use information synchronised from Southern Plants' internal business systems. Those internal systems remain the authoritative source for customer accounts, product information, stock availability and pricing.

Trade Portal And Terms Of Trade

Southern Plants is a wholesale nursery supplying quality plants to approved Trade Customers across Australia. We do not sell directly to the general public through the website.

Access to the Southern Plants Trade Portal is available only to approved Trade Customers and authorised contacts. Trade Portal access may be suspended or removed if account access is no longer appropriate, if information is inaccurate, or if the website is misused.

Orders submitted through the Trade Portal are Order Requests only. A submitted Order Request is not a confirmed order and is not considered accepted until it has been reviewed and confirmed by Southern Plants.

Product availability, pricing, stock quantities, product information, delivery timing and collection arrangements may change without notice. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information current, availability cannot be guaranteed until your order has been confirmed.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Minimum order value is $500, excluding approved add-on orders.
• Orders may be collected from our nursery during designated collection hours or dispatched using customer-arranged or Southern Plants-approved freight.
• Approved account terms apply only to authorised Trade Customers.
• Customers whose accounts are on stop credit may continue to browse the Trade Portal but cannot submit Order Requests until their account is returned to good standing.
• Account issues, credit limits, overdue accounts, stock changes, freight constraints or other business reasons may prevent an Order Request from being processed.
• All sales are subject to Southern Plants' standard trading terms, credit policies and availability at the time of confirmation.

Home Gardener Portal

The Home Gardener Portal is provided for personal garden planning, plant lists, notes, photos, reminders, wishlist items and general plant information. It is not intended to provide professional horticultural, design, safety, environmental, medical or legal advice.

Plant care notes, reminders, growing suggestions, inspiration gardens and AI-assisted content are general information only. Your garden conditions, climate, soil, water, exposure, local rules and plant performance may vary.

Plant Advice, AI-Assisted Content And Community Content

Some parts of the website may include AI-assisted content, user-contributed plant information, Community Plant records, Garden Ideas, comments, photos or other submitted material. This content may be helpful, but it may contain errors, omissions or opinions that are not verified by Southern Plants.

Community Plant content may be user-contributed and may contain errors. Southern Plants may moderate, edit, approve, reject, hide or remove submitted content at its discretion.

Garden Ideas, Photos And Submitted Content

By submitting photos, plant information, garden ideas, comments or other content through the website, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content and grant Southern Plants permission to store, display, reproduce, edit and use that content for website, promotional, educational, social media and marketing purposes, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You must only upload content that you own or have permission to submit. You must not upload content that is offensive, misleading, unlawful, confidential, unsafe, malicious, infringes another person's rights, or includes personal information about another person without permission.

Southern Plants may choose not to publish submitted content and may remove published content without notice if we consider it inappropriate, inaccurate, outdated, risky or inconsistent with the website.

If you create or use a website account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for using your account appropriately. Do not share your password or allow another person to use your account.

Please notify Southern Plants promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission, your password has been compromised, or your portal access is incorrect.
