I am a compact shrub that produces stunning red new growth from spring through to autumn (longer than other Nandinas).
I am the perfect height for fences, borders or as a low hedge.
I prefer a full sun to moderately shaded position in free draining to heavy clay soils.
Hardy I am tolerant of both drought and frost. I am also suitable for coastal conditions.
I require very little maintenance, however to keep me looking at my best, apply a slow release fertiliser in spring.
I am popular and will make you happy because...

I am just as happy planted out in the garden as I am in a container
